We do try to encourage him to let us read him something different, but alas that is usually met with great consternation.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-292188936537697563.post-37954270381178151692011-01-30T16:21:54.182-06:002011-01-30T16:21:54.182-06:00I have to say that reading is my favorite form of ...I have to say that reading is my favorite form of entertainment. I love nothing more than escaping into a book. Both The Mister and I spent many a happy time cuddled up with the girls when they were younger reading books. They are both voracious readers now. With you it's Pixar, with me it was Barney. As long as they are being read to, or are reading, children are in for a treat.SurprisedMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11474705305996978532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-292188936537697563.post-1431587709777829152011-01-29T08:30:51.099-06:002011-01-29T08:30:51.099-06:00Dude, what is it about Toy Story that these kids l...Dude, what is it about Toy Story that these kids love so much?! Ari is the same way! He LOVES the movies and has all the action figures. His favorite is part 2 actually. He also likes Nemo, but forget it, Toy Story wins. In fact, when we go to the library, he demands "Toy Story books."Sarah Faderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00130247223287762814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-292188936537697563.post-11314994682096195702011-01-27T15:19:22.188-06:002011-01-27T15:19:22.188-06:00E has twelve tiny books that we have to read over ...E has twelve tiny books that we have to read over and over and over. When Santa brought a new copy this year, it was immediately placed back into rotation.

I can't recommend it highly enough.Manic Mommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02397835927560496425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-292188936537697563.post-5242862124791401562011-01-27T09:19:48.028-06:002011-01-27T09:19:48.028-06:00We read this book - http://www.earlymoments.com/Di...We read this book - http://www.earlymoments.com/Disney-Wonderful-World-of-Reading/List-of-Disney-Books/The-Prince-and-the-Pauper/

every night. My wife and I each read one book to the 5YO and one to the 2.5YO. But they (as your little one) like the same book... over and over again. I try to encourage them to have me read one of the other 1000 books in the room but they love their ONE book. I keep it fresh with my little one by changing the story when I can (because she doesn't know any better). I have fun with it. But the 5YO can spot a change a mile away so she corrects me anytime I try to make a change. I still do it anyway. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09986167130467258392noreply@blogger.com
