2009: Braden's Year in Review

We started out this year with something that looked like this.

Then we took him for a stroll.

We taught him to cheer for the Cardinals.

We taught him to use the computer.

There were some set backs this year. Braden went to jail for theft of property.

When he got out we introduced him to our pet giraffes.

After jail and giraffes we decided it was time for his yearly bath.

Of course we taught him to call the Hogs.

We let him pick out some pumpkins to make a pie.

He did such a good job with the pumpkins we let him take a train ride.

After the ride it was back to work begging for change as a street monkey.

After work we figured rabbit stew would go pretty good with our pie so Braden picked out a tasty bunny.

Sure 2009 wasn't all work for the little man. He had a few drinks.

He went fishing a time or two.

He even took some wagon rides.

All this kept Braden so busy this year that he had neglected a hair cut for 12 months. He finally got one.

Now it is cold.

We have opened Christmas presents.

So it must be time for a New Year even though Braden is sad to see this one end.

But it is time to get some rest because 2010 will be even busier.

By the way, we ended up 2009 with this.

'begging for change as a street monkey' that was so funny! I loved this post, great year for Braden!

I hope you picked my friend's evil bunny to place in a stew. That beast tried to attack me.

AWESOME year for Braden AND for you two. Great post! Before you know it he'll be drinking milk straight out of the jug and eating you out of house and home. (but I hope that doesn't happen TOO fast)

He looks a little dismayed by that sweater.

Pretty good year for him otherwise!

Keely, I dont really know what you are trying to say about my little boys sweater, but your comment seems to be a little rude. Dont say anything if you are going to say things like that

I have to back up my wife here. Keely surely you have something better to do than make fun of a little boy's sweater. I hope we've misinterpreted your comment because otherwise that is pretty sorry.

What a wonderful, wonderful post! Thank you! How much Braden has grown this year! He's quite the little man now and looks so grown up in his formal portrait. The discoveries he and both of you have made this year have been numerous and hopefully delightful! I hope Braden gets plenty of rest because he and you have so much more to look forward to in the new year. Happy New Year!

(BTW, what is cold in Arkansas?)

Aww he is so cute! I can't believe he sat so good for a haircut (or at least for the picture)!

Happy New Year!

Braden accomplished more this past year than I did!

Love the fisherman outfit! Important that he was properly licensed. Start him off on the right (big cartoon) foot.

I'm sorry if I offended you, that certainly wasn't my intent. He's an adorable little boy who takes a great photo; the last one is just so formal that he looks (comparatively) uncomfortable.

Please feel free to reply to me directly if I've inadvertently offended you. My email is enabled. I don't re-check comments and only learned that I'd hurt feelings because someone else took the time to email me.
