Random Tuesday Thoughts: Bob and Doug and Robert the Bruce

Today is another Random Thursday.  Click on the button to see all the other randomness out there.  But please read my thoughts first. I have nothing to offer like seemingly ever other blog out there. Please just read out of the goodness of your heart. It is the Christmas season after all.

randomtuesday
  • I have seen a few posts talking about favorite Christmas songs. It tempted me to find my two favorites because I haven't heard them on the radio in a couple years. Then I was tempted to share with you so here they are.

  •  I wish something as simple as a balloon could make me as happy as it does Braden.
  • I find it funny that during the beginning of last weeks world climate conference that half of the US was covered in snow, and it was in the twenties here in Arkansas.
  • Braden hasn't slept well lately because of the joys of teething again. Obviously Arica and I haven't slept well either. Being an engineer I have almost finished my design to install an IV drip from the coffee pot to my office.  Next time I will be ready.
  • We took Braden to see Santa again last weekend. The first trip he cried. This time he sat there and got his picture made although he looked less than pleased.
  • Random Scotland Pic. This is me hanging out with Robert the Bruce. Yes I forgave him for turning on William Wallace. I think you should too.

I love your Christmas songs and be careful what you wish for. If a balloon made you as happy as it did Braden you would be in a padded hospital ward drooling most of the day. Although that could make for a nice 10 day vacation for me.

Very classic songs indeed. My wife and I heard Bob Dylan sing some strange Christmas song a few years back. Now he has a Christmas album out. Makes me wonder if that strange song is on it or not.

Wow, that's a trip down memory lane. Those songs were great!

When you get that IV drip going, send a prototype down our way. We'll happily test it out for you...

LOL! Love the Christmas songs. Oh, teething...such a wonderful way to remind us how lucky we are that they usually sleep!

I like the coffee IV drip idea! Get a hold of me when it's patented. Only I'm more of a Mt. Dew kind of gal. Kids always seem interested in the simple stuff, including balloons.

My husband's a patent attorney. Let me know when you complete your design. Every parent has talked about one. I'd love to see you do it!

I love the Cheech and Chong song, they play it here on the radio every December.

I don't miss the teething or the ear infections, my youngest used to get those really often. Although I was up late last night with a sick kid anyway and teeth can't be blamed. If you put that coffee IV drip on the market, sign me up for one...or ten. I know plenty of parents that could use one.

Ah yes, balloons and bubbles, it's just too easy for them sometimes.

I'd need a little more than that and a beer, in a tree...

Love your Christmas songs!

Teething is not fun - but an IV drip for your coffee would be. If you invent that, let me know, we could use something like that here, too. And I'd like one that would work well with wine. ;)

I have not heard those Christmas skits in years!

I would also like a coffee IV!

You crack me up! No pluto! lol

Funny videos! I know how you feel when you write "I have nothing to offer like seemingly every other blog out there." Sometimes I feel blogging brain dead. Like the picture!

You warmed my Canadian heart with Bob and Doug, though I have to say the original version is better than the cartoon version.

Very good Christmas songs and nice to see that someone else is excited about it! Is it wrong that balloons still make me happy?
