Top Ten Thoughts On Twins

I promise that I will have a serious take on this matter coming soon. Then in the months to follow I will have every different kind of update and philosophical pondering. Of course those will be blended well with OH %!@# moments. The truth of the matter is that every thought I have is consumed by this situation. But for now I just want to laugh. So here is a light hearted list of the top ten things I thought when informed we were having twins.
  1. I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue.
  2. Holy #$%!#
  3. Are you drunk lady?
  4. How many is twins?
  5. I wonder if Wal Mart is hiring.
  6. Do they give "father of twins" discounts at the nut house?
  7. This lady is about as funny as George Lopez.
  8. One fish. Two fish. Red fish. Blue fish.
  9. Two more and we've got a basketball team.
  10. Breathe.

Great list; you get extra credit for the "Airplane!" reference.

I knew there was a reason I was looking forward to your future posts! Hilarious list.

I cannot imagine what I would think in your place, but surely it'd be close to that!

Black fish. Blue fish. Old fish. New fish.

Also in the running: Is Braden too young to start working?; It'll be just like a Doublemint commercial; AAAAHHHHHHHHH. Tension breaker, had to be done. Good luck man.

funny list. . . and funny, that two years later, as the father of twins, the list hasn't changed too much for me. Enjoy the ride. . .

Those would probably be the ones I'd have too, with more of the Dr Seuss babble leading the group.

My baby sisters are twins. You are in for a good time and I mean that sincerely. Just get ready not to sleep for another 35 years. ;)

Congrats, that is very cool.

Our biggest fear during pregnancy was always conjoined triplets.

So, the key is to think that might have happened, and then be relieve at how much easier twins would be than conjoined triplets.

I think I'd have similar thoughts. I particularly like the Dr. Seuss reference.
