Random Tuesday Thoughts: The WHO

randomtuesday

Today I am back to the Random thoughts. My brain was especially mossy this past week. I was bouncing from one random thought to another all week. I did my best to remember these thoughts and record them here for the world to see. This is my favorite type of random post. It is just short snippets with no explanations, no rhyme, no reason, and often no point.
  • I saw a kid in his karate garb walking to class. He obviously didn't have any fear about walking alone through a tough neighborhood because he knows karate.

  • My dog Abbey is shedding so much that if dog hair had any nutritional value we could end world hunger for good.
  • I was dissapointed when I found out the WHO was the World Health Organization. The thought of Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey fighting a global epidemic, for some reason, made me feel much better.
  • I am not a fan of the person that planted hedges along the front of my house. While they may be great at repelling the Huns they require too much trimming.

  • Apparently I have digusting teeth. After my post outlining some of my dental problems Google strategically placed an ad for cleaning yellow teeth on my blog. Thanks all you computer nerds at Google. Very subtle.

  • Braden was crying the other day. I looked right at him and said "stop being a baby." I guess I expected him to look at me and reply "OK, I will be an adult now."

  • I saw a bird land in my back yard and pick up a tuft of Abbey's hair. Short of finding some monetary value in dogs hair I am glad that we can at least keep the neighborhood birds warm and comfy.

  • I recently saw something new at Wal-Mart. The greeter at the lawn and garden entrance was less than 90 years old. Wal-Mart I don't even know who you are anymore.

  • Honeysuckle grows wild behind my house. I am sick of trying to tame the vines so I have come up with a new plan. I'll let them take over my fence until it is completely covered. Then we will call our back yard The Friendly Confines.

There's quite a few chuckles in your random thoughts. I know I'm smiling. I think you'll have to give Braden a few more months before he can become an adult. The Friendly Confines? AKA Wrigley Field in Chicago? Have a great Tuesday!

@surpised mom: Yes like Wrigley Field. The honeysuckle will be our ivy. I should clarify though that I am a Cardinals fan and I hate the Cubs. I don't want any confusion there.

I love your randomness.

Whatever you do, don't let my neighbor see your vines!

I vote for letting the honeysuckle take over the back fence. You need something to repel a rear attack by those annoying Huns.

I secretly hope the vines in my backyard will grow around my fence and end up actually replacing the wood.

I wonder who under the age of 90 wants to be a walmart greeter?

Random is good. So much of life is just random bits of stuff stitched together into one experience; rare are the full stories.

Watch out for the honeysuckle - I discovered a hornet's nest in a honeysuckle bush once; the hard way.

Wild honeysuckle vines sound great. And OMG----"way to go Google" is right! I especially love the "Rotten Teeth" one. What?!?!
When my dentist cancelled my appt I thought of your "teeth post". It made me chuckle.

When I hear WHO, I think Horton not Townsend. Clearly, I've been a mom too long.

Thanks for stopping by. I'll definitely be back here. Think about adding an email address to your profile.

A Cardinals fan? I fear lightning will strike me down for even commenting on your blog. I just may need a little whiskey break after all!

From the sound of your gardening projects, your lawn may have eaten the 90 Walmart lawn and garden entrance greeter.

Ha! I said the same thing to CJ just a week or so ago. My cell phone was ringing and I took it away from him. He went to pieces and I told him to "stop being a baby". I felt bad afterward, but he did look at me, stop crying and played with a different toy.

LMAO at the dog hair! My dog could probably end world hunger all by her lonesome if there were nutritional value in it. As it is, she's stimulating the economy by keeping my cleaning lady in business.

Mr Linky came back so I linked you up! Happy Tuesday!

heh. "mossy" brain, heh? I never thought of it but that is a perfect word to describe it. I get kinda mossy as well.

I couldn't agree with you more, about the Worldwide Health Organization. If I'm going to be lulled into false security, I'd rather be lulled by Roger Daltry any day.

Wow. This is great. Now I can come dump all my emotional upheavings over here at your blog. You seem so ...so all in one piece.

Birds will take the dog hair? Maybe if I leave my sliders open they will rid my floor of the shedding issues!

I cracked up on the Walmart one. I guess the economy is pretty bad if their hiring younger guys.

Wait a minute, I'll be needing a new job in a couple of weeks, I wonder if they'd hire me?
